Malcolm Knowles

Malcolm Shepherd Knowles ( born August 24, 1913 in Montana; † 27 November 1997) was an American adult educators (adult education ) or Andragoge, known for his design of a theory of andragogy; him great influence is attributed to the development of the humanistic ( humanism ) learning and educational theory.

Knowles studied at Harvard University and graduated in 1934. From 1959 he taught for 14 years at the University of Boston.
