Malcolm Marshall

Malcolm Denzil Marshall ( born April 18, 1958 in Bridgetown, Barbados; † November 4, 1999 in Bridgetown, Barbados ) was a West Indian cricketer and one of the best fast bowlers in the history of cricket sport.

Career

Malcolm Marshall played during his career total of 81 tests for the team of the West Indies, where he scored a total of 376 wickets. His Test debut, he celebrated in December 1978 in Bangalore against India. His final testing was completed by Malcolm Marshall in August 1991 against England in London. In One- Day International matches ( ODIs ) Malcolm Marshall was used 136 times. His ODI debut Marshall in May 1980 against England in Leeds. His last ODI he played at the Cricket World Cup 1992 against New Zealand in Auckland. Malcolm Marshall took for the team of West Indies Cricket World Cup part two (1983 and 1992).

Others

Malcolm Marshall was 1996-1999 coach of the West Indies Cricket team. At the age of 41 years, Malcolm Marshall died of colon cancer.
