Malcolm Mortimore

Malcolm Mortimore ( born June 16, 1953) is a British drummer.

Malcolm Mortimore was from 1971 to 1972 member of the band Gentle Giant and can be heard on the album Three Friends. He played a free, quirky and complex style that contrasts with the styles of the other two drummers of Gentle Giant, Martin Smith ( 1970-71 ) and John Weathers ( 1972-1980 ), offers.

After the release of Three Friends Mortimore had a motorcycle accident and was due to a broken arm for the time being not ready. The band replaced him with Weathers.

After Mortimore had recovered, he started in the band GT Moore and the Reggae Guitars to play. In 1996 he played on Rock the Zydeco by Chris Jagger, 2000 to Arthur Brown Tantric Lover album.

Since 2008, Mortimore plays in the band Three Friends, in with Gary Green and Kerry Minnear play two other former Gentle Giant members and which lists, among other things Gentle Giant pieces.
