Male, Belgium

Times is an ancient place, and now a neighborhood in Sint- Kruis, a district of Bruges, the capital of the province of West Flanders in Belgium. It is located between the center of Sint - Kruis and Suisele, a district of Damme. The village consists of a small historic core, which is grouped around the castle of the same, which in turn is the birthplace of Louis of Male, Count of Flanders.

As Flanders was in the Burgundian state integrated, times retained its importance. King Philip II of Spain sold the Citadel 1558 Juan Lopez Gallo.

The castle was damaged in both World Wars, restored and since 1954 serves as the convent.
