Malik Allen

Malik Allen ( * June 27, 1978 in Willingboro, New Jersey ) is a retired American professional basketball player who plays for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. He is 208 cm tall and plays in the position of power forward.

Career

After four years at Villanova University Allen was not taken at the NBA Draft 2000. He began his career in the ABA with the San Diego Wildfire and in the International Basketball League in Trenton in the 2000/2001 season. On 20 July 2001, he was taken from Miami Heat under contract and now first played in the NBA. He remained there until he moved to the Charlotte Bobcats on February 24, 2005. On 2 September 2005, he signed a two -year contract with the Chicago Bulls. During the two seasons with the Bulls played with Allen at 114 games and scored 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds on average per game. On 10 September 2007 Allen signed a one-year contract, the New Jersey Nets with a transfer fee of 964.636 U.S. dollars. Along with Jason Kidd and Antoine Wright, he was replaced on 19 February 2008 against other players to the Dallas Mavericks. With Tyronn Lue he signed on 17 July 2008 a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.
