History

The first 40 - meter hill of wood was built in 1933. In 1954, the first modernization of the hill. After the conversion, Silesian championships and international competitions took place. In 1970, the jump was enlarged to a 105 K and with a start tower of steel. After the enlargement of the ski jump international jumping were held with renowned jumpers again.

After many competitions, the hill was run down and needed to be replaced. It was decided in autumn 2003 that you had to rebuild the hill. A year later, they started with the renovation of the new K - 120 hill. It has new function building and a spectator stadium, which offers 2500 spectators built. On landing hill new spectator seats are also to be built. 2006, however, delayed the construction work due to a landslide. The new ski jump was inaugurated under the new name Adam Malysz ski jump in the Polish Championships from 26 to 28 October 2008,. Since 2009 will be held at the hill Continentalcupspringen. On January 9, 2013, a World Cup competition was held on the first Malinka.

Hill record

The current hill record held by the Austrian Stefan Kraft with 139m, which was set up on 8 January 2013.

At the World Cup competition on 16 January 2014, the Slovene Peter Prevc landed at 140.5 meters but could not stand the landing 1.5 meters above the current hill record, reaching with hands in the snow so the length is not considered a record.
