Malla Nunn
Malla Nunn (* in Swaziland) is an Australian filmmaker and writer of South African origin.
Life
Nunn was born in Swaziland and South Africa attended a multiracial Christian school ( boarding school ). In the 1970s, she emigrated with her family to Western Australia, where she attended the University of Western Australia and the BA ( Majors in English and History ) completed. During a subsequent stay in the U.S. she met her future husband. Back in Australia, she began award-winning short documentary films and videos ( corporate videos) to write and turn.
After a few short stories published in Australia in 2008 and early 2009 (English 2009 A beautiful place to die in construction) in the U.S. with A Beautiful Place to the first volume of a planned series of detective novels with the Johannesburg detective Emmanuel Cooper Nunn; Background is the apartheid - ruled South Africa of the 1950s.
Malla Nunn currently living ( mid-2009 ) with her husband and two children in Sydney.
