Mallentin

Mallentin is a municipality in the district of North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is by the Office Grevesmühlen country located in the town of Greve mills, which forms an administrative fellowship with the Office managed.

The community Mallentin between Greve mills and Dassow and is about 22 km from Lübeck. The municipal area on the lower reaches of the river Stepenitz is slightly hilly, with 41 m above sea level, the maximum height is reached at Roxin.

To Mallentin include the districts court Mummendorf, New Greschendorf, Roxin and Schmachthagen.

In GDR times, was in Mallentin a cattle combine with over 2000 animals. Part Mallentins managed to retain its village character. In recent years, an area with many industrial estates came into existence thanks to its convenient location on the main road 105.

The district Roxin within a flow loop of Stepenitz has some thatched houses.

The Schönberg exit at the Federal Highway 20 is 11 km southwest of Mallentin. In greaves the next train connection to Lübeck and Bad kids.
