Malleray

Malleray is a municipality in the administrative district in the canton of Bern Bernese Jura in Switzerland. The German name Mällere is now used only rarely.

Geography

Malleray is located at 699 m above sea level. M., 9 km south-west of the town Moutier (air line). The village is located in the wide valley of the Jura latitudinal Vallée de Tavannes, both sides of the Birs, as well as on the adjacent slopes of the Jura.

The area of ​​10.4 km ² large municipality area includes a section in the central part of the basin Vallée de Tavannes, which lies between two anticlines of the Jura mountains. Population

History
