Malvik

Malvik is a commune (municipality ) in the central Norwegian county Sør -Trøndelag.

It is bordered to the west by the city Trondheim and includes several villages, the largest of which the administrative headquarters Hommelvik and the villages Vikhammer and Hundhammer are.

In 1879 Johan Malvik Nygaardsvold was born, the Prime Minister of Norway from 1935 to 1945 (from 1940, the Norwegian government in exile in London).
