Mamadou Koulibaly

Mamadou Koulibaly (* April 21, 1957 in Azaguie -Gare ) is an Ivorian politician and President of the National Assembly of his country. He is Vice - President of the Ivorian Popular Front ( FPI), the ruling party in the Ivory Coast.

Koulibaly his PhD in 1985 in economics from the University of Aix -Marseille and in 1987 received the Agrégation in this subject, the approval for top posts in the teaching profession.

In the transitional military rule of Robert Guei Koulibaly served from January 15 to May 18, 2000 as budget minister, then until 25 October 2000 as Minister of Economy and Finance. After the presidential elections in Ivory Coast in 2000, he took over under President Laurent Gbagbo in addition the role of a government spokesman. In this post he remained until 15 January 2001. Since the parliamentary elections in Ivory Coast 2000/2001 on 10 December 2000 he was deputy of Koumassi, one of the ten municipalities of the City of Abidjan, and since 22 January 2001, Président de l' ' National Assembly, President of the National Assembly.

Koulibaly criticized in February 2006, the actions of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire ( UNOCI ) to civil war.
