Mamadou Ouédraogo

Mamadou Ouedraogo (* 1906 in Ouahigouya, Upper Senegal and Niger, Burkina Faso today, † September 9, 1978 ) was a civil servant and politician from Upper Volta, today's Burkina Faso.

Ouedraogo is derived from the maternal ruling family of the kingdom Yatenga.

From 1948 to 1955 Ouedraogo was as MP for the colony of Upper Volta in the French National Assembly. He gained his seat on the list of pro-French Union pour la défense de la Haute- intérêts of Volta. Ouedraogo voted in Parliament among others for the admission of the Federal Republic of Germany into NATO.

He renounced his candidacy at the 1956 election and ended his political career.
