Mamata Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee ( born October 5, 1960 in Calcutta) is an Indian politician.

Life

Banerjee was educated at the University of Calcutta policy and law. Banerjee is leader of the Indian party All India Trinamool Congress. From 1987 to 2011 Banerjee was a member of Lok Sabha. From 22 May 2009 until May 19, 2011 Banerjee was the successor of Lalu Prasad Yadav Railway Minister of India Manmohan Singh II in the Cabinet since May 20, 2011 Banerjee is the Chief Minister of the Indian state of West Bengal.
