Mamfe

( Also written Mamfe ) Mamfe is a city in Cameroon in the province of Sud -Ouest. It is the capital of the department of Manyu. The population was 20,300 inhabitants on estimated 2001.
Mamfe is on the river Manyu, the source of the River Cross River, 472 meters above sea level. During the German colonial era, the city Ossidinge (II ) was called. The group of Mamfe languages was named after the city.
