Mamporal is a village in the Venezuelan state of Miranda, the administrative seat of the district Buróz. The village was founded on 16 January 1738 in an area surrounded by cocoa plantations. The name Mamporal to be an Indian word for an endemic plant. The region has about 20908 inhabitants.
