Man-in-the-Browser

Man- in-the- browser ( MitB, MITB ) is a form of attack on computer, in which a Trojan infects the user's browser and then changed the appearance of Web pages when using online banking or social networks and transactions can perform independently. In contrast to the phishing case the intervention of the malicious program can not be noticed by the user in the normal case, since the user moves to the real part of providers, is logged correctly and the unwanted transactions as normal operations for the user are displayed.

The man-in- the-browser attack is a special form of man-in- the-middle attack.
