Manchester Monarchs
The Manchester Monarchs are an ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They play in Manchester, New Hampshire at the Verizon Wireless Arena ( 10,019 seats).
History
The Monarchs were founded in 2001 as a farm team of the Los Angeles Kings (NHL). Their first game they played on 6 October 2001 against the Lowell Lock Monsters and lost 6:3. Your first victory they won a week later against the Norfolk Admirals. So far, however, never once they won their division (2004/ 05) the Calder Cup as they were eliminated in each case early in the play-offs.
