Manchester Open

The ATP tournament from Manchester ( formally open Manchester ) is a former British men's tennis tournament. The discharged in Manchester grass tournament was from 1990 to 1994 part of the ATP Tour. Successor was the tournament of Nottingham. From 1995 to 2009, the Challenger Tour tournament was held as part of the ATP. 2009, the tournament was held for the time being the last time.

Between 1974 and 1982 the tournament was played as part of the former Grand Prix tennis series at irregular intervals. 1880 this grass tournament was founded as Northern Tennis Championships, and is one of the oldest still being played tournaments. It is also considered the Wimbledon of the North. Until 1926 it was alternately held in Manchester and Liverpool.
