Mandas

Manda is a town with 5185 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Cagliari and a traffic center of Central Sardinia.

The community is located about 60 km north of Cagliari and covers an area of 45 km ². Neighboring municipalities are Escolca, Gergei, Gesico, Nurri, Serri, Siurgus Donigala and Suelli.

The place serves as a starting point for excursions to the Nuraghe Arrubia and the lake Lago di Flumendosa. Worth seeing is the local church of San Giacomo with the precious statues of San Giacchino and Sant 'Anna.

In the railway line Manda Manda -Arbatax branches off the track after Isili and here begin the tourist trains to Sorgorno. Here also some bus lines meet.
