Mandemakers-Stadion

The Mandemakers Stadium is the home of sports RKC Waalwijk Waalwijk, North Brabant, Netherlands. The football stadium was opened on 15 September 1996 and replaced the old " Olympic Sports Park". The stadium was not very popular and was named because of the poor state " bike shed ". There, the RKC played from the 1940 to 1996.

The last game in the Sports Park was on May 5, 1996 by and between Waalwijk and Fortuna Sittard (1:1) instead. Then work on the new " Olympic Sports Park" and after only four months started was the new stadium with 6200 seats. The floodlights you took over from the NAC stadium of NAC Breda, who also built a new stadium. After the corners of the football stadium were closed, it reached the number of 7500 still valid spectators.

By 1999, the venue was on the name " Olympic Sports Park ", then acquired the Dutch kitchens, plumbing and furniture manufacturers " Mandemakers Group" the naming rights.
