Mandopop
Mandopop ( Mandarin Popular Music, Traditional Chinese :华语 流行 音乐, Simplified Chinesisich :华语 流行 音乐) is a sub-category of the so-called C- pop (Chinese pop music ). Mandopop comes mainly from Taiwan and is, as the name suggests, in standard Chinese ( Mandarin) sung, as this is addressed to a wider audience, as in Taiwanese alone. Although the majority of Taiwanese people speak Taiwanese, but standard Chinese ( Mandarin) is the official language, is understood by most and also allows the linguistic minorities such as Hakka and indigenous Taiwanese identify with the lyrics.
Language
Among the many languages Chinese Cantonese is a more. This spoken mainly in southern China Language (including the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau) has its own sub-category of C- Pop, the so-called Cantopop ( Cantonese Popular Music, Traditional Chinese :粤语 流行 曲, Simplified Chinesisich :粤语 流行 曲) which is mainly from Hong Kong (China ) comes.
Features
The language is mostly the only difference between Mandopop and Western pop music. Musically, everything is represented by shallow Getudel to more complex arrangements, but which always hit the nerve of the mainstream in the Mandopop. The content is usually marked by heartache, relationship and love stories.
