Mandy Smith
Mandy Smith ( born July 17, born in 1970 as Amanda Louise Smith in London) became known in the 1980s under her name as a model and singer.
Life
Smith initially caused headlines when she as 13 -year-old went out with the 33- years older than Bill Wyman, whom she married on June 2, 1989. The marriage was but divorced after two years. Your time with Wyman they processed in the autobiography, It's All Over Now (1994).
Smith worked as a model and in 1986 she received a record deal and with the Produzenteam Stock Aitken and Waterman recorded their first album Mandy. With the singles I Just Can not Wait, Positive Reaction (1987 ), Boys and Girls and Victim of Pleasure (1988 ), she managed four times the leap into the German charts. In the UK, you never made a breakthrough, because it was boycotted more or less of the radio and television stations because of the scandal with Wyman. Very successful, however, she was in many parts of Europe, especially in Scandinavia, Italy, Switzerland and Japan. However, their last single was released in 1989 with the Human League Do not You Want Me Baby Cover. Some 20 years after the first publication of the album Mandy 2009 was re-released with numerous bonus tracks on CD. This includes the original version of Got to Be Certain, 1988, a big hit for Kylie Minogue.
On 19 June 1993 she married the footballer Pat Van Den Hauwe. This marriage ended in divorce. Since 2002 she has been married to Ian Mosby. Their son was born in 2001.
Smith currently resides with her son in Manchester. Where she heads with her sister Nicola marketing company Kiss PR.
