Mane Braz

The dolmen (D) of Mane Braz (also Mane-Bras ) is, with four other plants on a large oval hill, a few hundred meters from the " Chemin des megaliths " - "Street of megaliths " near Crucuno in Morbihan in Brittany in France.

Description

The northwest-southeast -oriented investment is a dolmen with side chambers (French dolmen chambre à lateral), similar Mane Groh, but without head niche. The main course is about seven meters long (originally probably longer) and has both sides at the end of four about 2.0 by 1.5 m wide side chambers. All but one of eight cover and support stones are present. Access is slightly lower than the remaining part of the megalithic.

About 15 meters away is the Dolmen (C ), a Dolmen à couloir, with a trapezoidal chamber of 3.0 x 2.5 meters and a small side chamber, which are almost completely covered by a cover plate only at the transition to about five meters long corridor is on a second floor slab. The transition tapers in the direction of access.

Besides Dolmen C are located at the top of the hill, the smaller almost opaque stone loose Dolmen (A B ), each as about 4.5 and 6.0 m long curved transitions are obtained in the form of its support stones.
