Manfred Hoeberl

Manfred Höberl ( born May 12, 1964 in Eggenberg, Graz, Austria ) is a former Austrian bodybuilder.

Life

His sporting career started in bodybuilding, where he also won a number of smaller titles, but he soon decided for the pure strength training. He successfully participated in Strongman Championships. His time was Magnus Ver Magnusson strongest competitor.

Title he won in 1993 and 1994 World Muscle Power Winner and "Strongest Man in the World " (2nd place). He stood in the Guinness Book of Records as the " man with the biggest upper arm circumference " with 67 cm. After a serious car accident in his Mercedes 560 SEC, in which Manfred Höberl carried off some bone injuries, his career was interrupted in the international motor sport short. Following the Rehabilitation Manfred Höberl took the private training but at the back. It was later followed by another television appearance, in which he prevented two Ferraris with pure muscle power in the Hercules Hold on riding and many other appearances and TV shows. He was also very successful with its dietary supplement products.

Höberl participated in disciplines at Strongmanwettbewerben: Farmer Walk ( concrete suitcase carry ), Atlas Stones ( Stone balls to 180 kg), Hercules Hold ( two handles on ropes), Carlift ( lifting, and overturning of cars) and PowerSTAIRS ( three weights on the stairs).

He has no fault in 2001 suffered a very serious motorcycle accident and is struggling to this day its consequences.
