Manfred Molzberger

Manfred Molzberger ( born January 27, 1936 in Gummersbach, † March 1, 2003 ) was a German track and field athlete and Olympian. He was several times German champion in the long jump.

The athlete from TSV 1888 Dieringhausen won in 1957 with 7.53 m the German championship. Even before he became the superior wide and also high jumper of his time. So it was in 1954 German youth champion in the long jump.

Overall, Manfred Molzberger won ten German championships in long and high jump. He took in 1958 at the European Championships in Stockholm in 1960 at the Olympic Games in Rome in part. He then took ninth place with a width of 7.49 m.

His personal best with 7.84 m he reached in 1960 as part of a country fighting against Switzerland.

He had a competition weight of 77 kg at a height of 1.88 m.
