Manfred Siebald

Manfred Siebald ( born October 26, 1948 in Alheim -Baumbach ) is a German Christian songwriter and Professor of American Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz.

Siebald is primarily known as a Christian songwriter. Many of the songs have now firmly in songbooks of different Christian denominations and are sung in churches and youth groups.

Artistic and musical career

Childhood and youth

In 1948, Manfred Siebald the son of the Reichsbahn inspector Friedrich Siebald ( 1914-2007 ) and his wife Anna Katharina ( 1920-2011 ) was born.
