Manhattan Life Insurance Building

The Manhattan Life Insurance Building was one of the oldest skyscrapers in New York City. The building was completed in 1894 and sparked the New York World Building as the tallest skyscraper in the world from. It was the first skyscraper towering over the then magical 100-yard mark with 106 yards. The title as the highest skyscraper in the world could hold until 1899, when it was surpassed by the Park Row Building, the Manhattan Life Insurance Building.

1963-1965 had the skyscraper the Irving Trust Bank Headquarters Building was demolished and soft.
