Manheim is a town in Herkimer County, New York in the United States. In the 2010 census Manheim had 3334 inhabitants. The name is derived from the Manheim, Baden-Württemberg city of Mannheim.

The Town of Manheim is located in the southeastern part of the county and is bounded on the southwest by the City of Little Falls. Manheim is located east of Utica.

The Erie Canal runs through the southern part of the city area.

History

In today Manheim area could be 1756 immigrants from German -speaking countries down.
