Manhua

Manhua (Chinese漫画/漫画, Pinyin MAN huà ) is the Chinese term for comics. Outside China, the term is used for comics from China. Most Manhuas occur in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

In the 1920s and 1930s influenced Feng Zikai ( 1898-1975 ), Ye and Zhang Leping Qianyu with their comic strips the manhua. Among the best known works from this period is one of Zhang Lepings Sanmao. The term manhua came in 1925 with the release of Feng Zikais Zikai manhua on.
