Maniwa, Okayama

Maniwa (Japanese真 庭 市, -shi) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Okayama.

History

The city of Maniwa was on 31 March 2005 from the Association of Municipalities of Katsuyama (胜 山 町, chō ), Kuse (久 世 町, chō ), Ochiai (落 合 町, chō ) and Yubara (汤原 町, chō ) the villages Chuka (中 和村, -son ), Mikamo (美 甘 村, -son ), Kawakami (川 上 村, son) and Yatsuka (八 束 村, -son ) of the district Maniwa, as well as the community Hokubō (北房 町, -chō ) of the district Jobo founded. The county Jobo was thereupon be dissolved.
