Geography

History
Are prehistoric Stone Age settlements and work places worth mentioning. Due to the immediate situation on the Roman road Trier- Metz also traces of Roman settlements are detectable.
On July 18, 1946 Mannebach was assigned to the Saarland together with 80 other municipalities in the counties of Trier and Saar castle, which no longer was under the Allied Control Council at the time. However, this association did not last long, for on 8 June 1947, Mannebach and 60 other previously outsourced communities to the newly formed in 1946, the state of Rhineland -Palatinate.
Parish council
The local council in Mannebach consists of eight council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Infrastructure
Surrounded by an unspoilt landscape of woods, meadows and wetlands, the resort offers residents and visitors a variety of possibilities for hiking and relaxing. For cyclists Mannebach can be reached by a converted by the river, and at the edge of the forest cycle track from the direction of Conc / Tawern. Mannebach is located directly on the historic James pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela and is connected to the Viezstraße.
