Manoi

Manoi or Phom Ma Noi ( full throne name Somdet Chao Brhat Bhumi Maha Nawi; * in the late 18th century, † 1821 in Bangkok ) was from 1813 to 1820 Prince governor under the rule of the Siamese Kingdom of Champasak.

Manoi was a nephew of King Sayakumane (reigned 1738-1791 ), his father was his youngest brother Prince ( Anga Sadek Chafa Jaya ) Raja Varman Suringha ( Sourinhô ). He received his education at home and in Bangkok. He was appointed in 1813 to the Chao Mueang Nakhon Champasak ( Governor of Prince Champasakti ) after the death of his cousin Nu. After failing to contain a larger uprising in the south of the kingdom he fled to Bangkok, where he spent his last days.

Manoi died in 1821, leaving six sons:
