Manorama (Tamil actress)
Manorama ( Tamil: கோபிசாந்தா; born May 26, 1943 in Mannargudi ) is an Indian actress of the Tamil film and theater.
The actress was born in present-day district Tiruvarur and called from your fans, " Aachi " grew up in the region of Chettinad in Sivaganga. She began her career in a local theater group as a playback singer and actress and received her stage name " Manorama ". In a performance, she was discovered by the film actor SS Rajendran. In 1958, Manorama her film debut in Malai Itta Mangai in a comic role. As an actress she impressed the Tamil popular cinema since the 1960s, often in conjunction with the co- comedians Nagesh, Chandrababu and Thangavelu.
