Manouba (Arabic منوبة, Manuba DMG ) is a city in north- eastern Tunisia and the capital of the province of the same name. The city is located west of the Tunisian capital, Tunis, has an area of 833 acres, and had in 2004 a population of 26.666.
University
In the Manouba University of Manouba in which about 13,000 students is to learn. Since the beginning of 2012 there were in the University of disputes. Supporters of the Salafists to try the female students, partly to bring violence and intimidation to wear a niqab (as of March 2012).
