Mantas Strolia

Mantas Strolia (* on 28 February 1986 at Ignalina, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Lithuanian biathlete and cross-country skiers.

Biography

His mother is Casimire Strolienė ( b. 1960 ), a former cross-country skier and biathlete Lithuanian, his trainer. His father is a police colonel and biathlon coach Vytautas Strolia (* 1960).

After graduating from middle school Ignalina Mantas studied at the Lietuvos Kuno kultūros akademija and then the Master's program at the Vilniaus Pedagoginis universitetas. Strolia participated in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. There he finished third in cross country sprint (1.6 miles) 46th place and was in the team sprint with Modestas Vaiciulis 18

His first coaches were Jonas Paslauskas and Igoris Terentjevas; now he is coached by his mother.
