Mantelletta

Coat Letta is one of dignitaries of the Roman Curia over the rochet worn knee-length, open at the front, sleeveless cloak of silk or fine wool. The color of the coat Letta determined by the ecclesiastical rank of the wearer and the particular liturgical occasion for which it is worn. Since 1969, the use of few Roman prelates is reserved.
