Mantou

Mantou (Chinese馒头/馒头, Pinyin mantou ) is a specialty of Chinese cuisine.

It is a soft, whitish steamed bread made ​​from wheat flour, water and yeast, which is preferably eaten in northern China and Taiwan. The consistency reminiscent of steamed dumplings.
