Manuel Alonso Areizaga

Manuel Alonso de Areyzaga ( born November 12, 1895 in San Sebastián, † October 11, 1984 in Madrid) was a Spanish tennis player.

Alonso was the first Spanish tennis player with an international reputation to Manuel Santana in the 1960s. The Spaniard was three years among the top - 10 of the tennis world 1925 until 1927. His best finish was 1926, the number two.

Alonso played 25 games for the Spanish Davis Cup team and won 14 matches for itself. His record is 14-11. In 1977, his induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
