Manuel Fettner

Manuel Fettner ( born June 17, 1985 in Vienna) is an Austrian ski jumper. He jumps to the SV Innsbruck- Bergisel.

Career

Fat talent agent for the first time showed in the 1999/2000 season, in which he was directly Austrian Vice Champion and won two jumping in the Continental Cup. Again in the following season, he succeeded in winning the Continental Cup, and he was Junior Vice World Champion in singles and in the team. On 4 January 2001 Fettner debuted in the World Cup at the Four Hills Tournament in Innsbruck, where he was 44th. Only two days later he had reached the last competition of the tour but the fifth.

Also in the Ski Jumping World Cup 2001/2002 Fettner went to the start and won 19 World Cup points. While he was in the Continental successful again in the 2002/03 season, and even the first time was Junior World Champion with the team, he did not make that winter made ​​it into the World Cup. Also in the not successful for him 2003/04 season he missed the start in the highest class, in which he again returned until January 2005 at the last competition of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen.

In Ski Jumping World Cup 2005/2006 Fettner again reached the World Cup points, as in the 2006/07 season, in which he succeeded as the best result a ninth rank. After starting in the winter of 2007/ 08 good with a seventh and an eighth place, he missed the episode, however, other top 10 finishes.

Fettner won until the end of season six Continetalcupspringen 2009, a total of 23 times he came to the podium. He also triumphed again in the FIS Cup and twice with the team in the Summer Grand Prix, he also won three times at the Universiade (2005 normal hill and large hill, 2007 team).

In the Four Hills Tournament 2010/11 he reached the first competition in Oberstdorf at the Schattenbergschanze third place his first podium.
