Manuel María Ponce Brousset

Manuel María Ponce Brousset (* 1874 in Lima, † 1966 ) was a Peruvian politician and in August 1930 for a short time acting president.

Ponce Brousset was born in 1874 in Lima. In 1930, General Luis Miguel Sánchez Cerro raised in Arequipa against the government of Augusto B. Leguía. After his resignation on August 25, 1930 Ponce took over as acting Presidency, while the search for a successor took place. The choice finally fell on Sánchez Cerro, who arrived on 27 August in the capital and took over the leadership of the country.

Ponce died 1966 in Lima.
