Manuel Schmid

Manuel Schmid (born 23 August 1981) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Schmid began his career with his hometown club FC Reith from Reith bei Kitzbühel and Kitzbühel at FC. The first major club was FC Kufstein. In 2003, he joined the First League in Styria to Kapfenberg SV.

2005 Manuel Schmid went to SC Rheindorf Altach with which he ascended into the Bundesliga in 2006. In summer 2008, he opted for a change back to the First League for FC Wacker Innsbruck. After only one year in Tyrol it went back to Styria and Schmid signed again at Kapfenberg SV, which played in the 2009/10 season in the Bundesliga. Currently ( September 2012 ) plays Manuel Schmid in the Tyrolean League for FC Kitzbühel.
