Manuel Uribe

Manuel Uribe Garza ( born June 11, 1965 in Monterrey) is one of the heaviest men in medical history.

After reaching a maximum weight of about 592 kg, with whom he received an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records, and the inability to leave his bed, Uribe was able to reduce his considerable body weight with the help of doctors and nutritionists ( Zone diet ). He set himself the goal of reducing his weight to 120 kg.

Personal life

In the summer of 2002 he was bedridden. He lives with his equally obese mother Otilia Garza Alanis home. In October 2008, he married his longtime partner Claudia. Uribe lived 14 years in Dallas. During this period he also took the most to gain weight. In 2007, he took 561 kg on the scales. By April 2008, he reduced his weight to 192 kg on already about 369 kg. In February 2012, his weight was 196 kg.
