Manuela Derr

Manuela Derr ( born July 17, 1971 in Neubrandenburg ) is a former German athlete who had - starting for the GDR - at the European Championships in Split in 1990 won the gold medal in the 4 x 400 - meter relay of the GDR ( 3:21, 02 min, along with Annett Hessel Barth, Grit Breuer and Petra shear Sing ).

1992 Manuela Derr was that was transferred as a work- mates at SC Neubrandenburg Katrin Krabbe and Grit Breuer taking the doping agent clenbuterol, banned by the German Athletics Federation for a period of eight months for competitions. The Athletics IAAF imposed initially a barrier for an indefinite period, the penalty later extended to three years until 1995.

Success in international youth struggles

Manuela Derr competed for the SC Neubrandenburg and the OSC Berlin. In her playing days, she was 1.73 m tall and weighed 55 kg. Today Manuela Derr lives (now Rödel ) with her husband and her son Nick near Hanover.
