Manziana
Manziana is a municipality with 7269 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Rome in the Italian region of Lazio.
Geography
Manziana located 47 km northwest of Rome and 7 km northwest of Bracciano. The municipality belongs to the Sabatini mountains west of Lake Bracciano. The area is of volcanic origin, which still shows up in the Caldara di Manziana.
The municipality consists of the villages Quadroni and Ponte Mariano.
The neighboring municipalities are Bracciano, Canale Monterano, Oriolo Romano (VT) and Tolfa.
Traffic
Manziana situated on the state road SS 493 Braccianese Claudia that leads to Rome. It has a station on the regional railway line Rome - Viterbo FR3.
