Marc Burch

Marc Burch ( born May 7, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American football player. He currently plays for D.C. United in Major League Soccer.

Career

Youth

Burch played from 2002 to 2004 college football at the University of Evansville. He scored seven goals in that time and prepared 22 goals against. In the summer he played for the Cleveland Internationals in the USL Premier Development League.

After the 2004 season he went to the University of Maryland, where he played with the Maryland Terrapins. With them he also won the College Cup.

Professional

2006 Burch was drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy. On 11 July 2006, he moved from the Galaxies, where he was only three times on the court, to Columbus Crew.

Since April 4, 2007, he plays for D.C. United. His first MLS goal he scored on 29 September 2007 against Toronto FC.
