Marc Methot

Marc Methot ( born June 21, 1985 in Ottawa, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2012 when the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Marc Methot began his career as a hockey player with the London Knights, for by 2005 he was active from 2002 in the Ontario Hockey League, and with whom in 2005 he first J. Ross Robertson Cup as the OHL champions and then the Memorial Cup in 2005 won. During this time he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 in the sixth round as the 168th overall player of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

After exclusively for their farm team, Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League, he was on the ice in the 2005/06 season, he was in the following season his debut in the National Hockey League for the Blue Jackets. After the defense again played in the 2007/ 08 season almost exclusively for Syracuse, he scored in the 2008 /09 season in 66 games 17 points scorer for Columbus in the NHL.

On July 1, 2012 it transferred the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Nick Foligno to the Ottawa Senators.
