Marc Planus ( born March 7, 1982 in Bordeaux ) is a French football player. Currently, the defender is the Ligue 1 Bordeaux representatives under contract.

Career

Planus ' professional career began in the summer of 2001 in his hometown of Bordeaux. However, he was not used until the following season for the first time. His debut for the port townspeople he had on 9 November 2002 during the league match against Stade Rennes. Since then, he is an integral part of the team of Dark Blue. Previously, he already went through the youth teams of Girondins and was trained in the junior boarding school Le Haillan. Only after five seasons for Girondins Planus was able to achieve his first goal in Ligue 1. The current contract of central defender is valid until 2011.

In May 2010, named national coach Raymond Domenech Marc Planus for the French World Cup squad. In preparation match against Tunisia on May 31, the defender came to his first senior international for Bleus.
