Marc Pujol

Marc Pujol Pons (born 21 August 1982) is an Andorran football player. He also owns the Spanish passport.

Career

Pujol plays in the position of striker, but is also often used in the midfield. He is 1.68 meters tall and weighs 58 kg. He began his career in 2000 at FC Andorra, 2002, he moved to UE Sant Andreu. After another two years, he moved again, this time to UE Figueres and a year later to FC Santboià. As of the 2008 season, played two years at Pujol Spanish fourth division club CF Balaguer. In 2010 he returned to FC Andorra.

In the national team he previously played 57 matches and scored two goals. One of which he shot on 8 September 2004 in the qualification for the World Cup 2006: In the 1:5 home defeat against Romania, he scored the intermediate 1:3 penalty spot in the 30th minute. On 10 September 2008, he met the qualification match for the 2010 World Cup against Belarus in the 66th minutes, the game lost Andorra yet with 1:3.
