Marc Ryan

Marc Ryan ( born October 14, 1982 in Timaru ) is a New Zealand track and road racing cyclist.

On the railway Marc Ryan has been very successful in the team pursuit. With the New Zealand team, he won his first World Cup in 2003 in Sydney. In 2005, he was there again successful and he won the World Cup in Manchester, as well as the Ozeanienmeisterschaft. A year later he won the bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games. In addition, Ryan was successful in national track cycling championship in the team pursuit and Madison.

On the road, Marc Ryan won a stage of the 2005 Tour of Southland. A year later, he was New Zealand champion in the time trial and in this criterion. In 2007 he won a stage of the Tour of Wellington and at the Tour of Southland where he was second overall. In the Track World Championships 2012 in Melbourne, he was able to win the 3rd place in the team pursuit along with his teammates.
