Marc-Uwe Kling

Marc -Uwe Kling (* 1982 in Stuttgart ) is a German singer-songwriter, comedian, cabaret artists and author.

Life

Marc -Uwe Kling studied Philosophy and Theatre Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2003 he appears on the Berlin stage. He also appears regularly with reading stages, and poetry slams in Germany. In 2004 he founded the reading stage Lesedüne. Since 2005, Kling is with the solo program If all else fails, you can not even hang on tour. In 2006 and 2007 he won the contest in the individual competition for themselves at the German Poetry Slam Championships. Organized on the first Tuesday of the month and he moderates the Kreuzberg Slam at the Lido (formerly Kato ) at the Silesian Gate and the first Wednesday of the Poetry Slam in the Student Cultural Center in Potsdam.

Marc -Uwe Kling lives in Berlin -Kreuzberg.

Works

Kling is the author of the podcast News from kangaroo, which is heard weekly on radio station Fritz. In 2010, he and the production team were awarded the German Radio Award. The texts published in print and as an audio book in the volumes The Kangaroo Chronicles and The Kangaroo Manifesto. 15 January 2011 his first studio album Marc -Uwe Kling & appeared Society. His latest book, " The kangaroo Revelation ", was released in March 2014.
